Adult Apprenticeships are for anyone over the age of 18 who wants to progress their career, start an entirely new one, or simply learn something new whilst on the job.

Many people think that because they’re over 18, or because they’ve already studied for a degree, that means they can’t or shouldn’t do an Apprenticeship. We’re here to tell those people that this is completely not the case.

Apprenticeships are for everyone, and there are a plethora of benefits of completing an adult Apprenticeship. Take a read of this article to discover just some of them.

Enhancing Your Education

Adult Apprenticeships are an excellent way of extending your learning, and what’s more, you’ll get a qualification at the end of it too. Plus, if you go up to a level 6 or level 7 Apprenticeship, this can be the equivalent of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

An Adult Apprenticeship is the perfect opportunity to become an expert in your chosen field, ensuring you’re set up with all the skills and knowledge you need to excel in your role, your career, and in your entire professional life.

As part and parcel of your Adult Apprenticeship, you’ll get 20% worth of your hours dedicated to study time at College. You’ll complete assessments both during and at the end of your Apprenticeship, meaning that when you’re finished up, you’ll be ready and prepared to dive straight into your dream job.

You can jump on board with an Adult Apprenticeship at any point along your career path; whether you’re just starting out, you’re looking to upskill, or you’re even looking for a change. As an Apprentice, you’ll learn the ins and outs of a specific job that you’re really passionate about. What’s more, an Adult Apprenticeship means you’re not just limited to learning the theory behind your role, you’ll be getting daily hands-on experience in a real-life job, meaning you can make sure your career path is full of potential.

Completing an Adult Apprenticeship will bring more career-based opportunities your way, whilst showing you how to continually develop your learning as you progress along your career path. An Adult Apprenticeship is also perfect for people who have landed a new role with new responsibilities, letting you learn new skills that’ll allow you to excel in your career. They’re also ideal for those who have had either a change of situation or a change of heart, and who are eager to try an entirely new career. Given that you’ll be starting afresh, an Adult Apprenticeship is a surefire way to get ahead in your new field.
