Building Technologies Open Day

Our Sector-Specific Open Days are your chance to visit the campus dedicated to the course you want to study and get a more in-depth understanding of how and what you will be studying .

Please note - only the person interested in studying at The Sheffield College needs to book a ticket but they are more than welcome to bring guests with them.

At our City and Olive Grove* Campus, you'll be able to:

• Tour our campus - explore communal areas such as our libraries, refectories, coffee shops, Student Central and break-out spaces
• Check out the state-of-the-art facilities, including our dedicated painting and decorating studio, bricklaying workshop, electrical installation workshop, and computing suites, just to name a few
• Find out about our expanding selection of T Level qualifications
• Ask your future tutors about the qualifications you're interested in and the typical entry requirements you will need
• See the type of work you will be doing and meet some of our current students
• Consider all of our different study options to figure out which study programme or Apprenticeship is right for you
• Speak with our tutors for support with completing maths and English qualifications
• Speak to our award winning, in-house Careers Team to figure out the best steps to achieving your dream career
• Discuss all of the support you can access while studying with us, including, financial support, childcare and travel discounts
• Meet our SEND Team and speak to them about any additional support needs you may have
