Published: 18th of February 2026
Meet Kevin Taylor, a Work-Based Learning Tutor at The Sheffield College. He brings years of experience in Digital Marketing and ICT, including work with the local council. His expertise spans IT support, systems administration, troubleshooting, networking, web development, social media marketing, content creation, and a wide range of digital tools.
Kevin’s experience allows him to quickly adapt to different technical environments, bring practical, hands-on skills to the table, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams. He’s passionate about helping apprentices grow their problem-solving skills, build digital confidence, and gain real-world experience that supports their learning and future careers.
For Fun: "I like to write music for short films, enjoy being outdoors, run, football, photography, and I’m learning how to play the piano."
Advice: "Be open to learning new things and possibilities, stay positive and committed, and take initiative. An apprenticeship offers practical hands-on experience, real responsibility, and valuable skills. Make the most of every opportunity."
