Jack Boyes is an Operations Administrator at Force Contracts Ltd, a role that he secured after recently completed an apprenticeship.
Based in Sheffield, the family run business of 40-years-plus specialises in heating, air conditioning and gas engineering.
Jack, 19, studied a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship, which he successfully finished in November 2023 gaining distinctions in all subjects.
Jack assists the Operations Director with the scheduling of engineers and jobs, ordering parts and equipment.
Jack said: “I chose an apprenticeship because I wanted to learn new skills whilst working in a real job and earning money.
“After the first few weeks, I felt part of the Force team and have really enjoyed earning while learning loads of new skills.
“No two days are the same. I enjoy working to deadlines and we have a laugh along the way. I want to stay with Force and keep learning new skills and advancing my career.”
Victoria Roberts, Commercial Manager, Force Contracts Ltd, said: “Training apprentices to our skills needs helps our company to grow. Apprenticeships are the best way for us.
“Jack is vital to the operations department and supports our Operations Director with our major restaurant accounts like Nandos and Wagamama.”
