Who is it for?
This Apprenticeship is suitible for candidates looking to begin their Hospitality and Catering career as well as existing staff members looking to gain further training or recognised qualifications. A commis chef is the most common starting position in many kitchens and in principal the most junior culinary role.

The typical duration for this Apprenticeship is anywhere between 18 - 24 months.
How does it work?
80% of the Apprenticeship will be delivered in the Apprentices workplace with one day a week reserved for off the job learning in College and tutor visits every 6 weeks.

Assessment
Apprentices will be assessed via, observation, exam and professional discussion at the end of the programme.
