Who is it for?
This Apprenticeship is appropriate for those with an interest and some experience in working in a business environment, providing administration and organisational support to a variety of people. They will consider the basics of working in administration and how these skills develop, and apply this knowledge to their own workplace to show understanding and competence in carrying out a range of tasks.
Start date
The start date of this Apprenticeship is flexible to suit the needs of the employer.

Duration
The standard duration of this Apprenticeship is 18 - 24 months.
How does it work?
80% of this Apprenticeship will be delivered in the Apprentices workplace. A college tutor will visit every month; review meetings with the tutor, Apprentice and their manager will be scheduled every 8-12 weeks.
Content
The beauty of this Apprenticeship is that the key competences and knowledge can be amended to suit the needs of the employer.

Assessment
Apprentices will be assessed using the following methods:
- Knowledge test
- project

Business Administration Apprenticeship Level 3
Additional qualifications
NVQ Business Administration L2 (new recruits) plus Functional Skills at Level 2 in English and Maths
Review
The apprenticeship should be reviewed after 3 years.
